David R. Tucker, CPA is the Founder and Lending Manager of CPA Mortgage Services LLC, a Utah Residential Mortgage company. He is also a CPA and the president of Tucker Thereur and Co, a Certified Public Accounting firm in Salt Lake City.

Dave has some 37 years of public accounting, with extensive experience with small business. He is an expert in business and personal tax preparation. He has been originating loans for more than 25 years. Dave graduated Cum Laude from Brigham Young University-Hawaii, is licensed by the State of Utah to practice as a Certified Public Accountant, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a licensed Mortgage Broker in the State of Utah.

Rick has extensive experience in small business Management and Leadership. He has founded several Organizations and has counseled with hundreds of clients on a wide range of topics from small business consulting to financial management.

Rick continues to consult with a handful of high-potential small business clients. He is also dedicated to the success of American Patriot Service Corp, a public charity which assists war-time veterans. Bob has over thirty years of legal experience, specializing corporate law, commercial transactions, contracts, real estate and banking. Bob has served as Chief Legal Officer for Transportation Alliance Bank and FeNix Products, as well as Senior Corporate Counsel for Flying J Inc., a Forbes top twenty largest privately held company. He is a former equity partner of a Salt Lake City law firm, and has a long history of serving on advisory boards for multiple commercial enterprises. Bob received his Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor Degree in Finance from Brigham Young University.

Chris has worked in the commercial real estate industry for over 15 years. The majority of his career was spent successfully underwriting, originating, and securitizing commercial real estate loans for one of the largest investment banks in the world. Most recently, he assisted banks and other entities in both acquiring and selling commercial real estate loans, loan participations, C&I loans, and consumer loans. Chris graduated with a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He received his MBA from Georgia State University.

What does it cost to become a member of CPA FXG’s network of financial advisers?

Absolutely nothing! We are on a mission to better serve our tax and accounting colleagues as well as serve the small businesses that make our nation's economy produce.  All that is required of you is executing an agreement between you and us.

Is this a franchise?

CPA FXG is not a franchise. Our program simply allows you to engage in additional revenue generating activities within your existing practice.

Do I need industry-specific experience to be successful?

Your knowledge as a CPA or other professional adviser serves as the foundational knowledge needed to participate in our program. However, we have industry veteran experts who provide additional knowledge and understanding regarding available commercial finance products. As you refer a transaction, we will work closely with you to select a lender from our lender network and obtain all information necessary to submit a completed product application.

How do we generate transactions once we become a member of CPA FXG?

You likely already have revenue opportunities waiting for you. As a CPA or other professional, you have a deep reservoir of clients that are continually engaging in capital-intensive commercial projects. Simply connect with your past and current clients letting them know that you can now serve as a valuable resource for their commercial finance needs. Use your own marking techniques or ask us about utilizing our sample marketing tools to begin generating client interest.

How is my referral revenue paid?

Depending on the commercial finance product, revenues will be generated either at closing (such as a loan) or on a recurring basis (such as A/R financing). Revenues will be collected by the lender and paid to CPA FXG and thereafter a referral fee will be sent to the referring partner (you). On occasion, the commission will be paid by the borrower to CPA FXG in which case you will then be paid by us.

How much is my referral fee?

Generally, CPA FXG will seek to pay a referral fee as a percentage of CPA FXG’s net revenue generated from your client’s transaction. This is case by case and actual revenue entitlements will be dependent upon the commercial product employed, the participating lender, and the unique circumstances of the transactions. Generally, this will be 25% of the 1% origination fee CPA FXG collects from the lender.

Can I do this opportunity part-time?

Absolutely. Participation in our program can seamlessly integrate into your current workload.

How does the CPA FXG Membership Network distinguish itself from traditional origination and brokerage options?

As you probably have experienced or at least heard of is when a CPA refers a client to a lending institution or loan broker, there is zero commission paid to the CPA. Not only are you working for free but you are also exposing your good name to third-party risk. 

As a member of CPA FXG, we understand this and have set up a program where you remain the point person in each transaction and we make sure you are legally and ethically compensated. We have an extensive lender network with a national platform. CPA FXG can provide CRE, working capital, A/R, Purchase Order, and equipment loans. where most brokerages focus on a single type of product (i.e. CRE). Additionally, our lenders' terms are very competitive in the marketplace. 

Lenders are always looking for commercial business generated from quality sources. CPAs are widely recognized as the most trusted financial advisers who intimately know their client’s financial condition. They also understand their client’s ability to perform within their own unique operational environment. Do I need to be licensed to become a member of CPA FXG?

Some states require licensing for some product types, however, the CPA will not need to obtain any licensing because our lenders are licensed.
